Kelly Nimens

Kelly Nimens, (Toronto, Canada) has transformed her lifelong passion into a thriving career as a professional dancer. Her journey began at the tender age of 5 when she entered the competitive dance scene, honing her skills in various styles at AB Dance, Elite Danceworx, and Performing Dance Arts. Alongside her dance training, Kelly also excelled nationally in Artistic Gymnastics, achieving significant success in both arenas. 

Kelly’s early achievements are notable and varied. She was crowned Junior Footloose National Champion, received the “Rising Star” accolade from Dance Spirit Magazine, won the York Region Celebration of the Arts Champion title, and appeared on the television series “The Next Step.” Her training continued at prestigious programs, including the Alvin Ailey Intensive, the Radio City Rockettes Pre-Professional Program, The National Ballet School, and she was entered into the Cirque du Soleil database. During her senior year at Chapman University, where she earned a BFA in Dance Performance, Kelly (as Dance Captain) led the Dance Team to their 10th consecutive USA National Team title.

Kelly has been a featured dancer in major industrial shows for high-profile brands like Adidas, Maserati, Martell Cognac, Muscle Tech and Jaeger-LeCoultre at the Shanghai International Film Festival in China. She has also graced the stages of the Aria Hotel and Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas during New Year’s Eve celebrations. Kelly’s performances with Dublin Worldwide Entertainment include the “Dancing Queen” show at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, Canada, and the Christmas Wonderland shows in both Tokyo, Japan and Fallsview Casino, along with the Christmas Wonderland North American Tour. Her dynamic talent was showcased in a national commercial for the car company “Vroom,” aired during the Super Bowl 2022, and she performed to massive audiences at the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in Las Vegas and Orlando. 

Currently, Kelly is the featured “CanCan” soloist at the iconic Moulin Rouge in Paris, France, and recently performed at Miss France for an audience of 8 million viewers. Her television appearances include CTV’s “Your Morning” and CP24 Breakfast Television. Kelly is slated to perform at the Opening Ceremonies for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. 

Beyond performing, Kelly is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of dancers. She co-founded and directs RUNWAY Dance Connection, a Dance Competition and Convention across Ontario aimed at inspiring young dancers. She also serves on the faculty at Mather Dance Company, offers choreography and master classes, and judges dance competitions throughout North America. Kelly is represented by Movement Talent Agency and Da Costa Talent in Los Angeles and Toronto, and by the Option Agency for modelling in Los Angeles.
