RUNWAY’s awards ceremonies are where we honour and celebrate the passion, talent, and hard work of dancers, parents, guardians, studio directors, choreographers and support staff.

SCORING SYSTEM:

SILVER: Up to 81.9
GOLD: 82 - 84.9
EMERALD: 85 - 87.9
SAPPHIRE: 88 - 90.9
RUBY: 91 - 93.9
DIAMOND: 94 - 96.9
RUNWAY: 97 - 100

RUNWAY “GRAND FINALE” PRIZES:

Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners of RUNWAY’s “Grand Finale”
Separate Pre-Competitive & Competitive CASH PRIZES!

RUNWAY OVERALL TOP STUDIO AWARD:

These awards are given to the overall top-scoring Pre-Competitive and Competitive studio(s) at the RUNWAY Dance Connection competition.

RUNWAY TOP OVERALL MARK AWARD:

This award is given to the highest scoring entry of the ENTIRE RUNWAY Dance Connection competition.

RUNWAY TOP-SCORING ENTRY IN EACH CLASSIFICATION:

Awards given to the top scoring Solo, Duet/Trio, Small Group, Large Group Extended Line/Production.

RUNWAY TOP 10 SOLOS:

Awards given to the top scoring solos for 12 & Under and 13 & Over throughout the whole weekend of dance.

"TOP OF THE RUNWAY" TITLE CATEGORY:

Awards given to the top placing entries in RUNWAY's Exclusive Title Category. Awards are divided up by age 12 & Under or 13 & Over.

RUNWAY RISING STAR AWARD:

This award is given to dancers who stood out during the RUNWAY Dance Connection competition, and demonstrated immense potential and star power.

RUNWAY CHOREOGRAPHY AWARD:

This award goes to an entry whose choreography really stood out to the judges.

RUNWAY TEAMWORK AWARD:

The Teamwork Award goes to the dance studio that shows the most enthusiasm, support and encouragement toward their fellow dancers.
